Home Energy Scotland Funding
Home Energy Scotland is a Scottish Government-backed service, delivered by the Energy Saving Trust, providing free, impartial advice and access to funding for eligible home energy improvements. Depending on your property, its current energy performance and your eligibility, funding may be available for:

Funding available
Energy efficiency (Fabric) improvements
For eligible insulation and other fabric energy efficiency measures, Home Energy Scotland may provide grant funding of up to 75% of the combined cost of the improvements, up to a maximum grant of £7,500. The remaining eligible balance can be taken as an optional interest-free loan, up to the maximum funding limit for the approved improvements.
Air source heat pumps (ASHP)
Eligible homeowners may receive a grant of up to £7,500 towards the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump. If the installation cost exceeds the grant amount, the remaining eligible balance can be funded through an optional interest-free loan of up to £7,500, providing up to £15,000 of combined funding (higher funding may be available for eligible rural and island properties).
